Please choose the Photo gallery left and insert the name of the place you are looking for, or enter the search word in Photo Search to continue. In Data Mining on the left side, please find Keywords to choose from as well as City. Extended Search in the upper left corner offer many ways to narrow your choice.

In the Archives you can choose a shortcut to sub archives such as Decor Photo Selection, Glaciers, Hot Springs, Volcanoes, Waterfalls and more. Do not forget to return to the master archive Myndasafn allt after finishing your search – else you will be stuck in the particular sub archive.

Do you want to buy an image online? Simply send us an e-mail on mats@mats.is with reference to the particular file name. We will process the images without obligations and send you a link where you can buy prints or downloads for personal or commercial use. Online sales are processed through http://mats.photoshelter.com.

Note: We are constantly adding more photos to the database. If you fail to find what you are looking for, drop us an e-mail on mats@mats.is. We will then scan the photos from amongst our 300.000 photos, prepare them and send you a link.
